Development Blog online

April 29th, 2010

Hi all,

I thought to setup a development blog for you so you get informed about the progress of the development of the new Trackerchecker. This blog looks crap, i know, but it’s only to inform you about the development progress.
The messages of trackerchecker were always written as “We” and “the Trackerchecker crew”, but in fact it’s only one person and this is my own personal hobby project. I have full time job, so the development of the new Trackerchecker version has to be done in my spare time. You’ll figure that when the weather in The Netherlands (where i live) is great, the spare time to code trackerchecker.com is low.

I would like to thank everyone who has sent his/her suggestions for the new trackerchecker. On http://www.trackerchecker.com/blog/?page_id=2 you’ll find functionality that’ll be on the roadmap of the new Trackerchecker.

As for the updates of new trackers to the current version of Trackerchecker. I’m sorry that i didn’t add new trackers for a while, but i’ve been busy lately and because the new trackerchecker is coming I didn’t add new trackers. The new trackers are e-mailed to me, so i’ll add the new trackers in the new Trackerchecker for sure. And I’ll do a big update and delete old/ perm offline trackers.

A bit of information on the development of Trackerchecker 3.0. The new version will be written in ASP.net and will be using the Umbraco CMS.

Take care!
